So here's the deal people, We've gone from Long Beach to Anneheim to Corpus Christi, and all the way BACK to Phoenix for the Phoenix Comic Con. Its been crazy. Its been GREAT. and now at the end of the road people want to start throwing things in our way. Well it ain't happenin'!!!    

the People have spoken and have pushed for us to shine through on the last leg of this tour. This is last show before issue 1 comes out. We WILL be doing a tour throughout the Phoenix Area at different shops in celebration of the book. I'll keep you posted for the dates.

Well, well, well. It has been a minute since we've been on the site. There has been a lot of changes since I was last here. The biggest would be the title of the book. From El Mystico to El Monstrou. Here is the reason why:

Apparently there are two wrestlers by the name of El Mystico. I did know about one of them, but was unaware of the other. Digging deeper I came to find out there was a big lawsuit between the two. So rather than risk the book and its contents, I opted to switch the name.

The current title :El Monstrou, this allows us to play with the character a little more visually and story wise. With this project there has definitely been alot of surfaces scratched and alot of things found underneath.

Hey guys I wanted to touch quickly on something that was mentioned about the book. While we were away in long beach, there was a conversation had about the certain styling of the book. Well I was working on a pin-up right now and thought I would address that issue really quick.

For all intentions, this book will be a stylistic book. As a matter of fact I was telling Thomas that the more we dip into the mystiscm of the book, the more the art will go into that direction. Style is a big part of what I do, and its what has worked for me, so that being said come Monday you should see an image to better illustrate what I'm talking about. TA-TA for now.

I have to say that the anticipation for this book, is something of a surprise. Originally we posted about the book back in January I think, since then (like all things) life had another idea and through a monkey wrench in EVERYONE'S plans.

I'm happy to say that we are finally here and the response has been amazing. Unlike other artists, I'll sit in my shop and draw pages in the public's eye. Having people constantly asking what the book is about, when it'll be released, and really going over the pages in awe, is something that helps feed me creatively.

Rest assured that we are looking to really make this Long Beach show, something for fans and future fans. While Thomas posted that we would have shirts and what not, I'll also be raffling off some original art (from and for the book). Those images will be posted Friday (9-25-09).

Also come by Tuesday, and I'll be postng some images from the book that will be released at Long Beach. I'm eager to hear some response. SO all that being said, Thank you for the support and..................Let the show begin.
